The Southern Nevada Chapter of the Project Management Institute ("PMI-SNC") is pleased to announce its inaugural Project Manager of the Year (“PMOY”) Award.  This award is designed to honor excellence in project management to those that have made a substantial contribution to their practice, organization and community.

The nomination period opened August 1 and ends October 15.  Nominees for PMOY must meet the minimum criteria:

You can self nominate – or nominate someone you know.  So, start thinking. who do you know that has made a significant positive difference in the outcome of a project this year?

After the nomination period, all applications will be reviewed and the top three finalists will be announced in January 2011.  Those top three finalists will be interviewed by a panel of judges, who will make the final selection.  The PMOY award will be announced at our February meeting/banquet.

The winner will be given an opportunity to speak about their project at a PMI Chapter Meeting along with receiving other accolades and prizes
